About the (Non) Extradition of Mousa Abu Marzook

Musa Abu Marzouk, deputy head of the political bureau of Hamas, was arrested in 1995 immediately upon landing in the United States and faced extradition to Israel. However, in November of that year Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated, and Benjamin Netanyahu entered the Prime Minister’s office – who decided to withdraw from the demand to hand over Abu Marzouk.
