Senior officials of Shin Beth, Israel Police, Mossad, Ministry of Defense, Israel Land Authority and others were invited in July 1965 to a discussion intended to determine guidelines for Israeli government policies towards the Arab Palestinian minority. Akevot is publishing the discussion’s 9-page backgrounder, classified Top Secret and prepared at the office of Prime Minister’s Advisor on Arab Affairs.
Among the proposed principles: preventing the existence on nationally-based Palestinian political parties, supporting differentiation of group identities among Palestinians in Israel and preventing the formation of intellectual leadership.
